Urgent letter From Ron Paul

EXTREMELY URGENT! PLEASE FORWARD!
Wednesday, September 24, 2008
Dear Friends,Whenever a Great Bipartisan Consensus is announced, and a compliant media assures everyone that the wondrous actions of our wise leaders are being taken for our own good, you can know with absolute certainty that disaster is about to strike. The events of the past week are no exception. The bailout package that is about to be rammed down Congress' throat is not just economically foolish. It is downright sinister. It makes a mockery of our Constitution, which our leaders should never again bother pretending is still in effect. It promises the American people a never-ending nightmare of ever-greater debt liabilities they will have to shoulder. Two weeks ago, financial analyst Jim Rogers said the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made America more communist than China! "This is welfare for the rich," he said. "This is socialism for the rich. It's bailing out the financiers, the banks, the Wall Streeters."That describes the current bailout package to a T. And we're being told it's unavoidable. The claim that the market caused all this is so staggeringly foolish that only politicians and the media could pretend to believe it. But that has become the conventional wisdom, with the desired result that those responsible for the credit bubble and its predictable consequences - predictable, that is, to those who understand sound, Austrian economics - are being let off the hook. The Federal Reserve System is actually positioning itself as the savior, rather than the culprit, in this mess!* The Treasury Secretary is authorized to purchase up to $700 billion in mortgage-related assets at any one time. That means $700 billion is only the very beginning of what will hit us.* Financial institutions are "designated as financial agents of the Government." This is the New Deal to end all New Deals.* Then there's this: "Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency." Translation: the Secretary can buy up whatever junk debt he wants to, burden the American people with it, and be subject to no one in the process. There goes your country.Even some so-called free-market economists are calling all this "sadly necessary." Sad, yes. Necessary? Don't make me laugh. Our one-party system is complicit in yet another crime against the American people. The two major party candidates for president themselves initially indicated their strong support for bailouts of this kind - another example of the big choice we're supposedly presented with this November: yes or yes. Now, with a backlash brewing, they're not quite sure what their views are. A sad display, really.Although the present bailout package is almost certainly not the end of the political atrocities we'll witness in connection with the crisis, time is short. Congress may vote as soon as tomorrow. With a Rasmussen poll finding support for the bailout at an anemic seven percent, some members of Congress are afraid to vote for it. Call them! Let them hear from you! Tell them you will never vote for anyone who supports this atrocity. The issue boils down to this: do we care about freedom? Do we care about responsibility and accountability? Do we care that our government and media have been bought and paid for? Do we care that average Americans are about to be looted in order to subsidize the fattest of cats on Wall Street and in government? Do we care? When the chips are down, will we stand up and fight, even if it means standing up against every stripe of fashionable opinion in politics and the media?Times like these have a way of telling us what kind of a people we are, and what kind of country we shall be.In liberty,Ron PaulSovereignLife Enterprises 250/421 Brunswick StBrisbane, 4006 Australia

It's A Choice!

Hello to all of you! I know, it has been a while, but I have been busy, with family things. I intend to write more, later. Much has happened in my life, since I last wrote!

Just wanted to encourage those of you, struggling to be stay at home daughters, who are receiving persecution from family and friends. Remember, it is the choice you made, and remember that you are only trying to please God, not your family members. Now if you Dad tells you that he wants you to get a job, as your spiritual leader, and head of the household, he has that right. If he tells you to do something morally wrong, then appeal to the higher Power, God, to have Him change the father's heart. He can do that you know! You are under his submission, until you are passed on to another, your future husband. So, be strong, and realize that being a stay at home daughter doesn't mean not getting a job,or working in the community, it means, being submissive to those in authority over you, and letting them guide you. Even if you think what they are doing is wrong, they are your authority, and they will be accountable for your choices. No one said it would be easy. Being a pioneer in starting the life of a stay at home daughter, it is hard for us not to say, "What will so and so think of me?" I am doing nothing with my life, according to them." So what? You are doing something according to God, and Jesus!

It's a choice", is a saying that I see on Mom's bathroom mirror everyday. It is a choice you make, to follow God, or to not follow God. It is your heart that tells you whether something isn't right, or is. It is the Holy Spirit prompting you!

Pray to the Lord daily for strength to endure the persecutions, for not being a "conventional career woman", and become an "unconventional keeper at home woman". We are starting a Rebolution, here. The Rebolution of Unconventional Women! Let us march onward, keeping our faces ever toward the one who never forsakes us!

Laura Hines, the stay at home daughter!

I have decided to follow Jesus!

Greetings to all of you! It has been a long time since I wrote on here, and I just wanted to say I am sorry! I have been busy with family things.

Time passes us quickly, and we are uncertain of our current course. But I know that if we walk with the Lord, in the Light of His Word, he will shed Glory on our way! If we are doing what the Lord has placed in our heart, no matter what the world says, we are following Jesus! There is a song, I have decided to Follow Jesus! Have you heard it? It is really a nice song, about standing alone on your decision to follow Jesus! If the spirit of the Lord tells you to stay at home, until you are married to a man, then so be it. Others will scoff and laugh, but you stay firm, and kindly explain to them, that this is what the Lord would have you to do! And desire to do it! It is the most important thing, to desire to do it! Force yourself at first, if you have to, and later, it will become second nature!

I have decided to follow Jesus! Repeat those words in your mind over and over again, and then it won't be so hard for you later, when someone says, "You are not going to College? What are you going to do with your life?" Say, "I have decided to follow Jesus, and to be a stay at home daughter, a wife, and mother." They will laugh of course because the world has no clue that you are trying to start a revelation of a new generation of daughters for God! Amen! Remember that you are Daughters of God, and that you are princesses, in the King's Palace!

I must close for now, but know that I am here, if you have any questions, concerning staying at home, or finding a niche to keep you busy, until marriage.

In Christ alone,
Laura H

Much Ado About Nothing!

I have been sort of lax lately, in not writing to you all. But I will continue to do so.

So, this week, I am talking about the role of a Stay at Home Daughter, and keeping her house/space clean!

She is meant to be a stay at home wife, caring for children, caring for the house, making their husbands happy. That is what all of us have been trained to be, keepers at home.

Now I know that is a foreign word to most of us out there, because we have been raised with the 20th century teachings, of a woman getting a career. But that is not the case. Some of the women stayed home, and cared for their families. One of those women, was my Mom. She never got a job in her life. From the time she married my Dad, she has always been a stay at home wife. Granted there were times when she would take us over to my Aunt's house, and we would spend most of the day there, and sometimes she would neglect dinner. But she was still a stay at home wife. And I admired her for it. She had resolve, and she had spunk. She still does!

Another example is a lady I adopted as a grandmother. She was a stay at home woman. Her husband had died many years earlier, and she was living at home, with her granddaughter. They took time out to teach me the fundamentals of housekeeping and so forth. Regrettably, I must confess that some of her teachings didn't stick. I am all together a sloppy housekeeper. When you run out of space, and you have more stuff then space to put it, it can be frustrating I assure you. What do you do with the stuff? Well, most of it is clothes that don't fit me now, but will later, and my current craft projects I haven't finished yet. I am so proud of my crafting skills, but ashamed of my housekeeping skills.

And when the time comes that your family tells you you have improved in your housekeeping skill, that sure does lift your spirits.

So, what are we talking about? Godly stay at home examples, or cleaning our houses? Well both, because these go hand in hand, and are essential for the developement of our character. Hard work never hurt anybody!

One person I was extremely jealous of when I was considerably younger and more naive, was my younger sister, Sarah. Oh, boy was she a neat nick. She would clean up like it was second nature to her. I would be so mad because my Mom would sayd, "How come you didn't learn to clean up the way your sister Sarah does? I would get angry, then realized I had made much ado about nothing, and then I realize now that all people are different. Sarah way overdid her cleaning and I way overdid my sloppyness. I thought that since she was cleaning the house, I didn't have to. Once she got married however, culture shock. It was as if I woke up and realized, "Hey, I have to clean my own room now. I better start now!" So, even though my room is most of the time not perfect, I try to keep it in order, most of the time! There I admit I am not a perfect human being!

Now, I realize that my fears and jealousies of childhood, were unfounded, because Sarah was just as sloppy as I was, but she cleaned the house out of fear. A hidden fear that none of us knew about, until a couple years ago. It was surprising what drives a person to do something!

So, there we go, a little glimpse into a not so perfect stay at home daughter's world. I hope that this has opened your eyes to realize that no one in this life is perfect, and that we all need to build and grow, and learn the lessons the Lord has prepared for us!

Thankyou for listening to my random ramblings! I hope you can get something out of this!

In Christ alone,
Laura

Spring Is Here!

Spring is here! Yeah, I am so happy about that. The bulbs are coming up, and the trees are starting their budding. And it means I will be spending more of my time outside. Yahoo! I love the outdoors. Especially walks along the bluff, overlooking the most pristine bodies of water, that I have seen thus far, the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Across the Strait you can see Victoria, B.C. and Seattle, and Mount Baker. On clear days, it is a rare treat.

As time goes on, I realize that every time Easter comes, it is a reminder that Christ rose from the Dead, after being crucified to save us from our sins. That is what Easter means to me. The fact that he came to die and rise for our sins.Easter is not about the bunny, and the Eggs, it is about the God who became flesh, and take on a filthy imperfect body, for the sake of those He loved the most, US, the World. So, why do most of the world celebrate Easter with Easter Bunnies and Eggs? I have no idea, but I celebrate Easter, as a time of remembrance that Christ came to this earth to die for us, and God rose him from the Dead, to live again forever. Wow, so awesome!

So, have a great Easter Sunday, and remember it is for Christ, not the Easter Bunny, or the Eggs.

Because of Him,
Shieldmayden FLaura
